Jonathan is a graduate from the 3TU MSc. in Sustainable Energy Technology at Eindhoven University of Technology, specialized in Wind Energy at Delft University of Technology. He holds BSc. degrees in Product, Process & Production from Aalborg University (Denmark) and Mechatronics specialized in manufacturing systems from Tec de Monterrey (Mexico).
Jonathan has 10 years of experience in energy technology, entrepreneurship and innovation. Before becoming founder of Green-ID, Jonathan was lead researcher on robotics for the energy industry at the National Research Institute for Electricity and Clean Energy in Mexico. He has been awarded in Mexico, Denmark and the Netherlands.
As director for Europe since 2013, Jonathan continuously sources opportunities and develops network partnerships for EU+LATAM. Jonathan organizes tech trade missions for startups since 2015 with Business Innovation Tours. He provides entrepreneurial advice to expats in the Netherlands and Dutch abroad on identification of internationalisation barriers, new business discovery in emerging markets and technology scouting within the energy, water, agri-food, hospitality and exhibition industries.
Founder & Director Latam
Fernando is a graduate from the 3TU MSc. in Sustainable Energy Technology and holds an MBA certificate on entrepreneurship from Eindhoven University of Technology. He also holds a BSc. degree in Mechatronics from Tec de Monterrey (Mexico).
Green-ID was initiated as an outcome from his MSc thesis at TU/e on enabling social capital for international technology transfer. This reflects on his coaching style enabling entrepreneurs to make effective use of international networks and informing on opportunities for both innovation and trade. For Fernando, each coaching traject is different and facilitated with brainstorming sessions to create new products, designing business experiments for proof of concept, internationalization strategies, identification of barriers and opportunities.
As director for Latin America with office in Mexico since 2012, Fernando provides business services and explores trade inquiries by European companies to enter Mexico and other LATAM countries. These services consider: identification of opportunities, international networking support, commercial representation and identification of barriers. He is involved in different markets as food, beverages, sustainable technologies and educational technologies.
Jan H. van den Berg

Jan is our lead expert advisor on international brokering and technology transfer with over 20 years of experience with cross-cultural hands-on business support focused on technology. Jan also has been business mentor for Green ID founders since 2012.
Jan has a lot of international business and export experience. He had many business development and export related management positions at engineering and production companies active in the construction and electronics sector.
As coach, Jan supports companies in making strategic decisions related to export and/or outsourcing (part of) their production capacities. This means not only a change in internal organization, but also finding local partners, improving the local production capabilities, setting-up co-production and/or assembly arrangements, starting joint-venture relations etc. Jan can advice entrepreneurs on how to safeguard their tech development capabilities in place while protecting their IP.
Tech Trade Partner EU+LATAM
Robert is our business innovation expert partner for bilateral funding in Netherlands and technology brokering in EU.
Robert has experience with development of food and feed standard and specialty products for the international market (EU, USA) as former project manager at DSM Food Specialties and a start-up algae producing company. As technology broker at the Enterprise Europe Network he gained experience with organizing matchmaking events and company missions in the field of horticulture and agri-food (Brazil, Greece and EU).
As international business and innovation coach, Robert provides support with market surveys, matchmaking, trade missions, grant applications (RVO and EU), preparation of business plans (including internal/external and SWOT analysis). His focus is on agro & food and cleantech in Latin America, Turkey, Middle East, Pakistan, India, USA and Europe.
Tjitte van der Werf
Tech Trade Partner EU+Brazil
Since 2015, Tjitte van der Werf collaborates with Green-ID as business innovation & trade partner in Brazil.
During the last 16 years, Tjitte has supported many companies in their first steps to export to Brazil. First as chief representative of the Netherlands Business Support Office in Porto Alegre and since 2005 as a consultant for (principally Dutch) companies. Services include market research, partner search, identification of clients. Tjitte may act as a representative agent for Dutch companies in Brazil.
For Tjitte, a main component of all trajectories to assist a company in doing business in Brazil is coaching. This becomes even more important when a company visits Brazil. He can support entrepreneurs with his experience in sectors such as agribusiness, production in diverese industries, (water related) environment, renewable energies, transport & logistics, amongst others.

Alberto supports Green-ID as business developer with focus on supply chain management for EU and Mexico; also exploring USA and China for inquires on outsourcing processes and production. Alberto has an academic background which is a mix of engineering, manufacturing and technology, economics, finance and general business.
During the last 7 years, Alberto has held international positions at big corporations and worked also with SMEs. Alberto has experience in the steel production, home appliances and food FMCG sectors in Europe, China, Mexico and the USA.
As business coach for international starters, Alberto can support entrepreneurs with his expertise in procurement, supply chain and business development when exploring a market entry or partnering strategy in Mexico, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Poland, Romania and Hungary.

Lionel is our business innovation expert partner for entrepreneurial finance; specially crowdfunding. He has extensively researched the growing peer-to-peer finance sector since 2003 and is a renowned expert in peer to peer finance & online microfinance.
Lionel has worked for more than 7 years as a finance & risk consultant for companies such as Oliver Wyman & Co and Cognizant. In the field of alternative finance, he has advised several platforms on their foundation and development. In 2011, he was co-founder of the European Crowdfunding Network (ECN) that now gathers more than 40 crowdfunding platforms (mainly equity-based & reward-based finance) across Europe.
Lionel regularly trains finance professionals and bankers on the operational processes involved in online investment & innovative funding.
Business Development & Event Creation Advisor
Tunmise is an innovative and entrepreneurial individual. As a self-starter who enjoys taking initiative and being challenged, he is currently pursuing his passion through working in a startup. His passion and strength lies in logistics, planning, and improving operations and processes.
Tunmise is an aerospace engineer with specialization in airport management and logistics. As entrepreneur, he has founding experience in a robotics tech startup and events agency. As founder Evention Labs, a creative, events and marketing agency for the businesses of tomorrow; Tim supports Green ID as business development and events creation advisor.
